Raytheon Australia is the Combat System Systems Engineer for the AWD project.

Raytheon Australia is constructing the company’s new state headquarters at Techport Australia. Once complete, the Raytheon Australia South Australian Engineering Centre will support the test and integration of equipment and sensors into the combat system for the Hobart class AWDs, and also the replacement combat system on the Collins class submarines.

Raytheon’s Techport Australia facility will also be the home of a calibration laboratory where the company will provide calibration services to the Australian Defence Force for its test and measurement equipment.
