The AWD Systems Centre is the hub of the AWD project accommodating AWD Alliance partners, the Defence Materiel Organisation, Shipbuilder ASC, Hobart Class Combat System Systems Engineer Raytheon Australia and capability partner representatives. The Alliance is managing the design, schedule, budgets and major procurements of the AWD project.

The Maritime Skills Centre provides technical and trade skills for the AWD project and when capacity permits, is available for third party commercial training activities.

Pacific Marine Batteries is a leading manufacturer of high-quality submarine battery systems. It has been involved with the Collins class submarines since their inception. PMB has recently been engaged by the Commonwealth in initial Future Submarine capability studies.

Babcock Integrated Technology Australia is a defence systems integration subsidiary of the Babcock International Group PLC. In May 2008, Babcock was awarded a $10 million contract for the Air Warfare Destroyers’ torpedo launch system.
