    ROLLS ROYCE SIGNS UP TO $50 M DEAL TO BUILD TECHPORT AUSTRALIA SHIPLIFT

    Premier Mike Rann announced today that Rolls Royce Marine had won a $50 million contract to build what will eventually be the largest shiplift in the Southern Hemisphere needed to build the Navy's three $6 billion Air Warfare Destroyers.

    The Minister Assisting the Minister for Defence Bruce Billson today officially launched Skilling Australia's Defence Industry Agreements between a group of industry partners (BAE Systems Australia, Saab Systems and ADC) and Defence that will establish a newly developed Master of Engineering Degree in Military Systems Integration in Adelaide.
